The Winds of change are here…

Welcome to volume 2 of the Ocho Newsletter! What do I even mean the winds of change are here? Well we have a few faces in new places and that means things are moving around. Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari might be the biggest name in the sport moving to the biggest team (Akin to Lebron to the Lakers if the Lakers were then also stacked with Kobe and Shaq.) If you missed our conversation on this don’t forget to check us out on YouTube! for now lets take a quick walk through some tidbits we missed and as promised DFS HOCKEY!

Sergachev out

After finally making his return to the line up the lighting will be without Mikhail Sergachev for sometime. He took to instagram to express his frustration after going down awkwardly over his own feet (after getting hit) Itll be interesting to see what the Lightning do come trade deadline to boost the line up

Astros Sign Altuve to big time extension

Jose Altuve and the Houston Astros have agreed to terms on a 5 year $125 million dollar extension. The 8 time all star would’ve been able to test free agency after the 2024 however this likely means Altuve stays with the Astros for his entire career. How do you feel about Altuve and the ‘Stros? let us know on the socials.

NHL DFS for Feb 9th

We have a few games on the slate tonight The Pens and Wild, the Rangers and Hawks and lastly the Oilers and Ducks. For me I think that id be looking at double ups or 50/50s as there will be a lot of Chalk with such a small slate. for line up building I think that if you’re looking to be a little different id stack lets lean in a bit to the Minnesota wild. I like Kaprizov at W Faber on D and Zuccarello on the wing. In goal its Shesterkin for me go for what should be a Win. Ill pair the Wild with a few Oilers going with Perry ($2700 is hard to pass up) and Foegele in your utility spot to stack. Finally ill close out the line up with Malkin and Trocheck. So what does that look like: C- Malkin + Trocheck W- Kaprizov, Perry and Zuccarello D- Faber and Letang G - Shesterkin and Foegele in the utility spot Good luck and if youre new to Draftkings use the code below to sign up:
