What Are We Even Doing Here?
NFL teams failing to make the mark and Weekend Wagers!
Panthers, Patriots and Colts Struggle
We are firmly into Week 3 after a dismal performance from the New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football. The Pats gave fans hope by beating the Bengals week one but that was quickly put to bed last night as the offensive line essentially evaporated. Elsewhere, the Colts look to be nowhere near competing for the division title as Anthony Richardson has been largely unable to get this team going in the right direction. Despite the hope that the young QB would be able to progress, they are simply out of contention at this point. And of course there are the Panthers…. Meow. The cats have been one of the worst teams in the league with Bryce Young having taken several steps back (although I’m not sure its on him entirely) passing for less then 100 yards a game is a quick way to earn yourself a spot on the bench… which is exactly what Bryce has done. Which of these 3 teams has the best chance to turn it around this year?

A Generational Talent
The chase for the 50/50 is over as Ohtani completed the feat with a 6 for 6 night ending with 3 home runs, 10 RBI, and, of course, the stolen bag. Witnessing the 50/50 has been truly remarkable and I’m so happy that MLB was able to showcase the event. I do wish there had been more of the Barry Bonds treatment (cutting to AB during other games) but at least there has been wall to wall coverage. Where will this season by Ohtani end up in the all time seasons in baseball?
WEEKEND WAGERS!
Gif by aew on Giphy
ITS TIME! We are in Singapore this week for F1. We also have a full slate of NFL games and so much more, so let’s get to our wagers for this weekend!
F1:
Leclerc to finish on the Podium, Piastri to finish in the points, Russell in the points, and Checo Perez top Six
Checo was on pace for a near podium finish until his wreck last weekend. I expect him to be in the mix this week. Piastri has been in the best form of all the drivers over the past month, so I expect the same and Ferrari will be looking to make some moves on both the drives and constructors championships
NFL:
Alvin Kamara Anytime TD
Mike Evans Anytime TD
Josh Jacobs Anytime TD
Kyler Murray Over 250 Passing Yards
