You Call That Boxing?

Earlier this week, I was sent an incredible video which might go down as one of the most Ocho ways to box that I’ve ever seen. It consisted of two men and a ref suspended, in air, over a river on a shipping container, bare knuckle boxing. The loser appeared to be the person who hits the water first, but if that isn’t the most Ocho combat sport we’ve seen… I’m not sure what is. You can see the video here 

USA Finds Their Rhythm, Beating Joker & Serbia

I can only imagine the headlines: “USA Chokes, LeBron Humiliated”... Alright so I’m not a headline writer. But what a hard fought victory for the United States men’s basketball team against a Serbian team lead by league MVP Nikola Jokic! The USA was trailing 11 points entering the 3rd quarter but Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant went to work and deleted that 11 point deficit. The USA will go on to play French Phenom Victor Wembanyama and Team France for the gold.

Weekend Wagers!

For this week’s weekend wagers, I have the men’s Olympic basketball gold medal game. The odds are heavy on the USA money line so let’s build some odds with a parlay. I’ll take:

USA Money Line

Steph Curry 15+ points

Kevin Durant 15+ points for +300 at bet365 with the BetBoost. I like the Americans to win, I hate the spread (+16). I think France keeps it a bit close but, in the end, it’s still the USA for me.
