MLB DFS, Lifetime Ban, and More!

For… Only $1000?!

This week, Major league Baseball suspended several players for a year and even banned one of the players… for life. Tucupita Marcano receiving the harshest penalty of the bunch, was banned for life after placing 387 bets totaling more then $150,000 in October alone. This occurred from July to November with a legal sportsbook. The 24 year-old had played 149 games in The Show and is the first active player to be banned for life in a century. The four players who were banned for a year were Michael Kelly, Jay Groome, Andrew Saalfrank, and Jose Rodriguez who all wagered less then $1000 each. My only question here is… why?In a sport where the all-time leader in hits is not in the hall of fame for betting on baseball….would you BET ON BASEBALL!?! Throwing your career away for trash picks is not only a categoric shame but a tragic opportunity wasted.

Players Shouldn’t Bet….. But You Absolutely Can!

Today I’ve got some DFS bangers for you, and if you are an active MLB player I would strongly advise against using these picks and throwing away your career! However, if you’re just an every man like myself, feel free to head over to DraftKings and enter either of these line ups into a 50/50 or Tourney.

Line-up #1:

Let’s lean on the battle of the Sox here and try to get ourselves a nice W. Sonny Gray is the pay-up player for St. Louis versus the Rockies (another basement dweller) and we toss in some value with Jacob Hurtubise who at $2600 is a steal.

Line-up #2:

In this second line-up, we happily pay up for Hunter Greene and the Reds against the Cubs with a little Red Sox magic peppered in there as well. Instead of a single value play in the first line, we want to be a little more spread out. Looking for consistent performers in Carroll and McCarthy will be the goal here. Good luck and please tag me on social if you end up cashing either line-up!

The Boston Celtics Play Basketball Tonight

The Boston Celtics play basketball tonight, and I couldn’t be more excited. The agony of the ‘22 defeat to the Golden State Warriors haunts me every time my head hits the pillow but the Jay’s and the rest of the squad have made it back to the finals for a shot at redemption. I don’t have to tell you that there are some extra-curricular story lines to pay attention to here. Kyrie swears he’s a changed man and has no animosity towards Boston… but everybody with a brain knows that’s not true. Give it two games in the Garden, and we’ll see the Kyrie we all know come right back out. Kristaps was made the scapegoat for the Mavericks short-comings a couple years ago and now gets a shot to prove that they made a huge mistake. The Celtics are also out to prove that the regular season wasn’t a fluke, that the road to the playoffs wasn’t easy. They want to show that the team is just THAT good and they HAVE to get it done this year. WHy? Because they sacrificed the heart and soul of the team to get here. I still miss you Marcus Smart. With Porzingis being cleared to play in game one, every Celtics fan should be foaming at the mouth for this series to start. We have the better roster, we’ve been here before, and we’re hungrier for this first title in the Jayson Tatum era than we have ever been before. Let the games begin and PLEASE for the love of everything I hold dear: GET THIS DONE.
