The Great Bobblehead heist

A tribute to the Mulleted wonder

Jagr Bobbleheads stolen!

What a wild week it was post trade deadline. Teams got back to the grind with their new additions but the one story that has taken a hold of everyone. Jagr bobblehead night has been postponed after the shipment of bobbleheads was reported stolen. So in light of the Jagr nonsense lets talk about The mulleted wonder himself Jaromir Jagr.

Hall of Fame teammate

In his Career which has been absolutely lengthy Jagr has had 16 Hockey Hall of Famers as a teammate. They include: Mark Reechi, Paul Coffey, Mario Lemieux, Bryan Trottier, Larry Murphy, Ron Francis, Joe Mullen, Adam Oates, Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Eric Lindros, Brendan Shanahan and Chris Pronger, Martin Brodeur, King Henrik and Bobby Luo (Roberto Luongo). They say the greats make others better and I think the case Jagr helped many of these players in their careers can absolutely be made

Jagr was part of an absolutely dominant Penguins team in the early 90s which netted him 2 championships. Jagr also took home 5 Art Ross trophies 3 Lester B Pearson awards a Masterton award and a Hart trophy. He was also an 8 time All star and he was of course included in the 2017-18 NHL 100th anniversary team.

Ive been Everywhere?

Despite being thought of as one of the greatest Penguins of all time Jagr actually spent time on 9 different teams including: The New York Rangers, Calgary Flames, Dallas Stars, Washington Capitals, Philadelphia Flyers, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils and Florida Panthers. Even now Jagr is still hanging around over in europe still playing to this day. I guess when you do 1000 squats a day (thats a lot of Squats) you can probably keep playing.

A hall of Famer through and through

Jagr ended his NHL career with 766 Goals 1155 Assists and played in 1733 total games. HIs Goal mark puts him 4th all time behind Gordie Howe, Alex Ovechkin and Wayne Gretzky. He is Second all time in Points behind only Wayne Gretzky. its Safe to say that Jagr was a one of a kind generational talent and im lucky as a kid to have had the chance to watch him in his prime play. So heres to you Jagr may they find your bobbleheads and may you continue to rule the Ice.
