A Game Of Inches
NFL Is Back, F1 Shake-up, and Weekend Wagers!
Football: A Game Of Inches
Or maybe it’s a game of toes? The NFL is back, and we had our first game last night between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. The defending champs overall looked good for a week one performance, though many fans will point out the obvious disparity from the refs (ref ball was on full display last night). Kansas City looked extremely efficient as they could for a week one with Xavier Worthy who scored a rushing TD (showcasing the jets he’s known for) and then later catching a wide open throw from Mahomes to walk into the end zone (he looks really good on my bench facepalm). But the story of the game for me was that an offense who signed Derek Henry in the offseason seemed to get away from the run game that worked in the first quarter and lost their identity. Lamar had moments of brilliance and moments of frustration. Juking, making guys miss for some incredible runs… and then missing a few key wide open throws. Ultimately, for all the flaws the game, it came down to a last second end zone toss which momentarily looked to be good! Isaiah Likely grabbed the ball and toe tapped in the end zone but in the words of Lee Corso “Not so fast my friend!”. Likely’s toe was just on the line and the game was over. I’m curious to see how this new look Ravens team comes together because they have a lot of promise if they clean up their mental mistakes.
PS. No one likes the refs, and they’re never going to make you happy so stop worrying about it!

Driver Shake up!
Kevin Magnussen is out….. for 1 race for reaching 12 penalty points on his super license in a 12 month span. Truly impressive work. Magnussen will be replaced by a Dubs favorite Ollie Bearman for the upcoming race. K-Mag may not be the best racer on the grid but he certainly attempts to give it his all. It’ll be interesting to see how the Bearman does in his return to the grid filling in yet again. Do you like the ban system? Let us know on the socials!
