NO SLAPPERS IN EMPTY NETS!

In case you missed it the Ottawa Senators beat the Toronto Maple Leafs earlier in the week. This isnt really much for news but with an empty net and time expiring Ridly Greig hit the ultimate disrespect by taking a giant slapper into the empty cage. This of course was met with the very upset reaction and Morgan Rielly responded by cross checking his face. While I think that a response was warranted I believe this to be in a word “Clown Behaviour”. Unwritten rules of hockey aside (a topic for another day) cross checking someone in the face could have been avoided had the Leaf’s not been on the losing end of the basement dwelling Sens in the first place. Do your job and figure it out Toronto.

The greatest Golf Tournament on earth

Some golf fans will tell you that the greatest tournament on earth is the Masters or the open championship but for me the best tournament on earth is the Waste Management Phoenix open. For the fan it is the most active group of rowdy individuals around. for the golfer we have iconic holes with incredible views. Though the weather didnt cooperate fully this weekend after a playoff Nick Taylor took home the victory. I think the WM open might be a bucket list tournament to check out.

Ovi on a roll

Dont look now folks but Ovi is rolling! Ovechkin is currently having an incredibly subpar season however of late the Great 8 has been rolling with goals in 5 straight games (losing sunday in overtime to the Canucks 3-2) Things are looking tough with their next game coming up against the avalanche. Will Ovi ever catch the great ones Most goals all time? let us know on the socials.
