Benches clear, Greatest props in WWE history, and DFS hockey!
Benches Clear Early
Genesis Cabrera has been suspended 3 games after getting into a “fight” with Jose Caballero during the Jays and Rays opening week series. The altercation came when Cabrera gave up a run and was covering third base when Caballero ran through the bag and bumped him. Cabrera certainly didn’t appreciate this and decided to bestow Caballero a few face shoves. While baseball fights are rarely the same type and breed of brawls like we see in the NHL, but there is still a bit of satisfaction when you see your team having some early “fight”! What was your favorite baseball fight? Be sure to let us know on the Socials!
Greatest Props in WWE History?
I was watching the Biography on Randy Orton (excellent bio, by the way), and I was thinking what are the greatest props in WWE history? Here are my “Mount Rushmore” top four:
Jakes Snake: For what it’s worth, this snake was simply the coolest thing on earth when I was a kid. This guy just walked around, kick butts, took names, and was wearing a snake! It sounds cheesy now that we’re older & wiser, but it was peak coolness at the time.
The Undertakers Urn: Speaking of peak cool…when the undertaker was at his height, that mystical urn represented so much mystery. Paul Bearer and his squeaky voice shouting about things unknown mystified all of us. Let’s not forget the penultimate betrayal with Kane!
The Many Robes of Ric Flair (woooo!): This is on the list because of how iconic these bellowing yells are. Yes, they are innumerable but how could you not appreciate the nature boy and all of his incredible robes? He had many, but the baby blue might be my favorite.
Razor Ramons Toothpick: There are a lot of infamous heels in WWE history but Razor was always just so smarmy and so bad- it RULED! Walking around with that toothpick awe-struck as all, illustrating that he was just causing trouble everywhere, anywhere.
What are you favorite WWE props? The Rock’s Sunglasses? Stonecold’s Beer? Let us know your thoughts on The Ocho, Live Wednesday on YouTube.
DFS Hockey!
Alright, time for a few stacks that I love.Tonight, we have an eight game slate. Let’s start in Goal where I’m going with Brossoit of the Winnipeg Jets ($7800). The Jets are ice cold right now, but the Kings are certainly no juggernaut. I like to pair that with a couple of other Jets in Morrisey ($5900) and Monahan ($4600). Dont invest too heavily in Winnipeg unless you are looking for a completely Chalk-free strategy. The other Stack I love is Colorado. The Avs are hot so let us build a value stack that gives you some flex. At Center, let’s go Casey Mittelstadt ($4000) who is on the second line but is PP1 and pair him with less valued Cale Makar ($8200) and Jonathan Drouin ($4000). Love the Avs to beat up on the meager Jackets tonight.
