A ring by any other name

And now its all over. The world series has finished with the Los Angeles Dodgers beating the New York Yankees in 5 games. In a series that lacked length we were given some pretty iconic moments. From Freddie Freeman hitting homeruns in pretty much every game (including a walk off Grand slam in game 1) to fans committing an assault on Mookie Betts in game 4 the series had its share of moments. But what I personally will remember from this series is 2 main things. Aaron Judge the nearly automatic hitter in the regular season. MVP. the guy on that Yankee team not showing up (yes he had a few hits but largely over his post season career Aaron Judge has been a ghost) and secondly; Game management from Aaron Boone (mostly how is your ACE not available in a must win game 4?) .

But really this world series will be remembered as the first for Shohei Ohtani. In a year where he signed an incredible team friendly contract, Had a betting scandal with his former interpreter, didn’t pitch, had an MVP season and got hurt during the world series. and yet he still remained a large part of this Dodgers teams success. To all my friends and readers who are Dodger fans congrats. This one is one they cant take away from you. No cheating just straight up better then everyone else.
